Car charger not charging but displaying it does.

Does anybody have the problem that your car charger doesn't really charge. It displays fast charging and the time remaining but the battery % remains the same.

I don't think it fast charges in the car. At least from my experiences.

I have found that a typical low-watt car charger won't keep up, and some are better than others. I have a 2.0 Anker and a 3.0 Anker that will both fast charge my S8...but I just bought an off brand charger rated at 3.0 that will barely keep up.

Another possibility is the charging cord is insufficient to pass the correct current (too much resistance). Try another cord...some are better than others.
