Car keeps syncing emails and not just phone contacts

Every time I refresh the phone book in my car (toyota camry 2012), it shows my phone contacts AND my email addresses from google. When I had my iphone it only synced my contacts :/ how do I fix this?

I believe you can do it in same way as android device. To show only phone contact you have to go to phone book than on top right side you choose menu then filter, and there you choose whatever you want to show ( either emails, phones numbers, facebook contact )

On the phone to remove contacts:

Settings > Accounts > Google > select account > Disable contacts sync.
This will keep them off after deletion. Then...
Settings > Apps > Contacts storage > Force stop > Clear cache > Clear data.
You will, of course, erase all contacts on the phone.
