CarDock - Navigation

Is the Google Navigation for the Atrix cardock different from the Google Maps? I'm assuming it is and was wondering if you can speak a command to "wakeup" the Atrix while it's sitting in the cardock? For example, I have a Garmin (3790LMT) and if I say, "Voice Command" it wakes up and listens for my next command such as "Find Address", etc. Can this be done on the Atrix?

To the best of my knowledge - you need to manually start Voice Commands either using the big icon on the car dock home screen or the little one on the Google Maps app.
