I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and for some reason the Carrier name does not appear on the top left of the screen like it did on my S7 edge.

The Note 9 is model SM-960U1 and it is running stock Android 9

Thanks

Watch the top left corner while you are on the lock screen. It should scroll past.

This has been removed because you have the clock now there , but like the other poster said it will show on lock screen.

Ah, now I understand. I looked again and it is at the bottom of the lock screen.

Is there any way I can move it back to where it was without rooting ?

Thanks for the help

Not that I'm aware of.

Just curious, why is this important?

Do you have a dual SIM model?

In my note 9 the carrier name is nowhere to be found. Perhaps Good Lock is somehow hiding it.
