Case for your Maxx

Well I just got the diztronic case it is very thin fits on in a second and is flexible I love this case and for 12 bucks you can't beat it. Honestly it doesn't even look like there is a case on.

Are the buttons open or covered?

From the pics it looks like they are covered. If so that's too bad. I hate having any case on top of the buttons.

I use the gel case from Verizon and its nice to have the buttons covered. I prefer them covered to be honest.

Yes the buttons are covered, but it's not too bad.

I also prefer the buttons to be covered, particularly for the Ultra/Maxx/Mini because of the SIM-tray/Volume Button combo. I feel like that is a bit more open than your typical volume rocker. Whether or not that's true... eh, I'm just paranoid I guess.

I just got the Diztronic Matte Back Black TPU Case for Motorola Droid Maxx in the mail and I love it. I had this on the GNex. Great fit and access to the bottom buttons is perfect. The power and volume button covered areas are easy to press, unlike the Verizon Bumper. I like to Verizon Bumper looks, but this case is much better for functionality. Ill test wireless charging later.

Just confirming that the wireless charging is not impacted by this case.

I like the case but it keeps peeling of my screen protector since it doesnt cover much of the bazel.

Confirmed. Wireless charging does work with Diztronic

Got the Diztronic Matte Black case and it is better than I expected. Great fit, doesn't add much to the size of the phone. Has just enough of a raised edge on the front to allow you to lay your phone face down without the screen touching . All of the cutouts are great, buttons work very well, charging works very well (both corded and wireless). Does not affect my screen protector (one from Verizon) as someone else complained about. Nice inexpensive option for a case.

I started with an Otter Box defender but I am only keeping it for when I go camping and want extra protection. I ordered an Incipio case from Amazon but have recently learned it will not ship until early October.

Amazon.com: Incipio MT-294 feather for the Motorola DROID Maxx - Black - Carrying Case - Retail Packaging - Black: Cell Phones & Accessories

Yesterday I ordered an Incipio case from Verizon and after I see both I will decide which one I like best.

Oh ... as I was putting together this post I went back out to Amazon and saw my case was available now through another seller and fulfilled by Amazon so I re-ordered and should have it by Friday. Yeah!!

Any chance you could post some pics of the case with your phone? Haven't been able to find any of these anywhere.

I have the VZW bumper, but not completely sold on it. I like the open back though. I would hate to lose that with a closed back case

Just bought this very reasonable case. Reminds me of my NGP Incipio on my Galaxy Nexus. I think it'll be just the thing based on y'alls reviews.

I received the Incipio dual pro case today and I do like it. I like it much better than the defender, although I know the defender serves a purpose and I am happy to own one for more active conditions.

This case is a little slippery but not overly slippery and I don't have a screen protector yet. I really do not like screen protectors and I like the phone so much better without them, but I am nervous to not have one on the phone. I always use them.

Thank you for the pictures. The case looks great but I'm disappointed that the bottom lip doesn't fully surround the Kevlar. The gel case from Verizon wraps all the way around and I prefer the extra protection. Besides, it looks kind of awkward without the full wrap around.

My dual pro case fully covers the phone. I like it.

I actually like this. The Verizon bumper covered the entire bottom lip and I had trouble pressing the bottom 3 buttons with my thumb. This gives me unfettered access.

I love a bumper or a very minimal case, however I went to the verizon store in my local city today and I tried on a few cases and I ended up leaving with the Otterbox Commuter Series. I am in love with this case, I chose to go with the all black opposed to the white&gray and the purple. The case is perfect for someone that loves a real solid feel to their phone, there is absolutely no wiggle room or wasted air space whatsoever with this case. To me the Commuter does not feel much thicker than the Diztronic case that is so popular and it is not near as bulky as the Otterbox Defender Series. I definitely recommend considering this case if you are in the market for a solid, not to thick case that will give you that little bit of peace of mind. On a side note if you do go to your local Verizon store ask to try on a few they did not seem to mind at all, and ask for a discount, I walked out of there paying less than their sticker price of $34.99 tax and all and they offered to put it on my bill instead of paying up front. They were pretty cool guys.
