My fellow phone addicts ... does your obsession with having the latest and greatest device leave you with a case graveyard? I typically trade in my old devices in lieu of selling it privately, which leaves me with all the cases I've purchased over the span of using said "old" device just laying around. Seems a shame to toss them ... what do you all do with your cases once you trade a device in?

Good topic! I used to just amass them and ultimately toss them, but I recently discovered that Staples will accept phone, tablet, and computer cases for recycling -- and if you're a Staples Rewards member, it'll earn you 500 points (which can be redeemed later for credit on purchases): https://www.staples.com/stores/recycling
That's good to know! I don't frequent Staples, but this is a cool program!

Thanks for the tip. I have many old cases that I've just been accumulating. I'll take them to Staples next week.

How long is "recently"? *squinty eyes*

I could have had some cool stuff but literally just brought myself to let go (aka throw away) old cases to phones I no longer have...

I think they started accepting cases about a year ago?
My mind frequently travels through parallel dimensions. Apparently I was somewhere else when I posted that. I haven't had a Staples near me in years, so my question is irrelevant.

I guess I'll have to look at the terms and conditions and not scalp useful cases for cheap, that's scummy, but look for junkers on eBay and Craigslist and recycle them for points.
