Case recommendations?

I've gotten this case as well, and it seems to work pretty well.

I've ordered the free leather back , battery, and battery charger from LG. For those who have leather cases, I'm curious: are you more or less likely to use an additional case to cover this?

Same. I won't leave the house with my phone not in the case. Don't matter whether the back of it is plastic, leather, glass, or metal.

Just got my UAG case in the mail. Def a vast improvement on the Tech21 I was rocking and would recommend it to anyone. Lightweight, not bulky, and military grade drop protection.

My only complaint with the UAG is when changing the battery which I do every day the case is very snug

You probably have leather back? Comes off very easily for me with the plastic back. Love the way my orange leather back looks but won't use it for that very reason.

I am just curious, why don't you like the Commuter? I found it to be rather slim compared to most high-protection cases. I originally had a Tech 21 $45 case and replaced it with the Commuter once I found that it was not that much thicker, had amazing 2-layer protection (I had the Commuter for my Galaxy S3 and it was a tank), and also has port covers to prevent the ports from getting clogged with lint and debris. Also, despite what the manufacturer suggests, it does fir the leather back phones.

It's a good case. Got one as well but I can't show off my carbon fiber skin with the otter

To be fair, I can't think of any cas eon this phone that is protective enough and can show off your skin/leather back

The clear UAG does both of those with no problem.

With that honeycomb texture and that giant black spider-looking pattern? Not exactly clear nor does it show off the leather texture.
