Case/skin?

LifeProof looks pretty good...not so sure I would like a case w a built in screen protector tho

I tried one with my S5. I didn't like it at first. After a while you get used to having a condom on your phone. The screen guard still distorts the screen image ever so slightly. Lifeproof makes a case without it just not for this phone.

Does that dBrand skin wrap around? I think I want that Rhino case. I would love to buy that blue skin but I don't think it would work without cutting if it wraps around.

Go to the Dbrand website and you can "try on" whatever skin you like with whatever color phone you are ordering.

Rhino CrashGuard will fit with the dbrand skin. It does look like the skin wraps around, but I wouldn't worry about it.

I'd go for any Speck case or any Otterbox. Had both of them and have loved both brands.

I always use Diztronic TPU cases.

For $10, you get durable, good-looking protection that is precision cut to protect against bumps and drops. I've used a Diztronic case on all my devices over the last handful of years. Previously, I paid thru the nose for Seidio cases, which were great also, but Diztronic accomplishes the same protection for a 1/4 of the cost and they are ridiculously easy to put on and take off...

Those do look nice. Have you been getting them in matte black? How does it feel, rubbery or almost like a smooth cloth? Thanks. Hopefully they make them soon for the Pixels.

I have a diztronic on S5, 2 years going , fits nice, smooth feel, yet I feel the phone is protected from minor drops, not to much bulk. can't beat the price

It's closer to smooth cloth than rubbery when you run your finger along it... lovingly

What kind of bulk do the RhinoSkin Crash Guards add? Personally, I prefer pretty thin cases such as the spigen thin fit or something a little larger like the google live cases.

I love my RhinoShield Crash Guard also, used on my 6P. Doesn't add much bulk in my opinion. It has a thicker lip, but that's why it helps protect the phone. I still use a screen protector though.

Speck grip FTW. and it appears there's a slimmer grip - the presidio

I bought a Spigen Ultra Hybrid Google Pixel XL Case for my silver XL and it is great. The back is hard clear plastic, but the sides and corners are softer, impact absorbing tpu. Time will tell if it yellows, but for now it looks great and I can still see my Pixel!

I definitely hope to see a good rugged case....

I'm using the Spigen liquid crystal and really like it. It's thin and flexible, but the side buttons still feel really good. This phone is big and a case can really make it seem even bigger if you aren't careful.

My ideal case is one with actual cutouts for the buttons. Anyone have one of those?

Edit: my bad, this is meant for the Pixel XL
