Caseology Skyfall - feedback (not very good)

I got all 3 of the caseology cases and then some other random one and suprisingly I like the feel of the skyfall better than the parallax. Eventually I'll probably get a lifeproof but this will do for now

And the Legion?

And the Legion?

The legion and parallax feel "sharp" on the edges the parallax is bearable but I didn't keep the legion on for more than a few minutes. Honestly if anyone wants the legion I'll send it to them for whatever shipping costs lol

What is that middle case called? I like that.

I did get the blue one, still on the way from the US, anyone actually tried the Legion yet?

Dan_B1979 how's that Ringke Fusion faring? I'm still looking at that but if nothing suffices soon I might have to bite the bullet and get one of those Samsung Protective stand cases,

Let me know what you think about the legion when you get it please?

Really liking it Pal

I've switched back to the Spigen case for now; I usually swap out cases every few weeks haha

I might order the Tough Armor Spigen case too; just waiting for a letter wallet case to arrive to see how that is. Already had one but it was crap and got sent back

Not sure I want to pay £30 for a Torro one just yet seeing as they only get used if I'm out and about on a social event etc

Middle case it the parallax. It looks awesome and if you can deal with the "sharp" feeling then it's a great case. Of the 3 caseology I got I like the skyfall solely because it is not sharp. Other than that its hideous lol

Well I decided on the Samsung protective case with stand, I Have the Caseology legion coming soon which I will try but I need a solid daily driver for work which I think the Samsung is, not my number one colour but then again neither was the phone!

I have the black one. I really like it. Adds a little heft to the phone but I think overall it should help protect it in any drops.

Lol thanks:)

So I decided to start with the sky fall after putting on the glass screen protector. What a PIA getting the film off of both sides of the case. Finally got them off and put the phone in. First impressions I like it! It was fine for about 10 minutes then I started getting what looks like the oil slick. It’s actually just a gap between the phone and the case. If you press and hold on the sides of the case most of it disappears. I’m going to leave my phone in it for a day or so and see if it settles down. If not I have two more cases to try LOL. But I do like the case if that mark goes away

I have the Skyfall and I have the "water slick" as well on the back, but overall I'm happy with it. I feel it is offering protection, and it doesn't feel slippery/slick to me. I do have a Spigen on the way, as well as a wallet case so I don't think this is going to be my daily case. Also, I use my pinky to balance the phone and I have noticed the lower left edge is sharp...not unbearably so but noticeable after some time.

Pull the bumper off first and it goes on much easier. It's still a pain to get the bumper back on though. Kind of the reason I stopped using it, it did fit well with my caseology screen protector.

I had received a few emails from Caseology so I sent them a message both about my screen protector and the case. I haven’t gotten a reply yet. However I did go read some of the Amazon reviews and some of the replies to people about the slick spot is to take the case off, wash it with soap and water, dry it and wait 10 minutes or so before putting it back on. Wipe everything off with a microfiber cloth before putting it back together.

Problem for me is is that the glass screen protector is lifting slightly on one edge as it had some hazing or something on it underneath. And the case is pretty tight so I need to be extra careful taking it off and then putting it back on.

I got the skyfall one and the caseology tempered screen protector it seems to be holding well so far.

Anyone else getting this watermark issue?
I did.. Almost in the exact same spot. Ordered three of them using the discount codes and won't be using them. Have been using the Samsung military grade case with kickstand (silver) for a few days and like it a lot. Can't explain the feel of the case but it is NOT slippery at all and the stand is real sturdy. I think this will be my go to case.

Here is a review of it by Tech Zilla.

Just getting worst and no point in returning since it was free.

A trick we use to do on Otterbox screen covers which may work for this, is to use a bottle of baby powder, and turn the inside of the cover upside down holding it about 6 inches or so above the bottle. Lightly squeeze the bottle to do a puff of baby powder out of it on the case inside of it. And then put your phone inside of it. It prevents that from happening as you see on your case.

I sent a reply to one of the followup emails for purchase of the Caseology products And I told them about the slick spot on the back of the sky fall cases. I have not received a reply and has been 2 or 3 days. I had looked on Amazon and others had complained of the same issue. The response was to wash the case in soap and water, dry it and put it back on. So that's what I just did and so far no slick spot. However, I had a very clean install last time and despite being careful drying and using a microfiber either my phone or case left residue that shows through. So now that is driving me up a wall lol. I really don't want to take the case off again to re clean it. FYI it's a little bit better on finger prints too.. it's not as bad after washing it with soap and water.

Edit.... I take it all back the slick spot just came back ugh... What the heck ugh
