The Speck Presidio Grip is something you must check out if you haven't seen it. It may not be for everyone, but everyone should at least look at it - and it's in stock at Verizon stores

I got the same speck case shown in this thread. Had a similar one on my 6p and that thing took a lot of drops

Just ordered google fabric case from best buy for pickup as they have some in stock. I got the fog for my black 3xl.
it was $40 but I knew verizon has a special for 25% off.
I did online chat with rep from bb and he adjusted price so I'm receiving fabric case, google, for $30.
That's a pretty good deal for a great case.
I love it on my 2xl and hopefully it's even a little thinner on the 3xl which I'm receiving tomorrow.
So excited!

How well did it hold up on your 2XL? In terms of the slippery to grippy scale how would you describe it, and how does it fair slipping in and out of a jeans pocket?

I've had it almost a year and it has held up fine.
With that being said it has split time with the rhinoshield bumper.
The grip is good and I was away visiting my daughter at college for 3 days this past weekend and it was in and out of my jeans pocket a hundred times.
It's a great case and I suspect it will be great on the 3xl.
I'm heading to best buy tomorrow morning to pick it up and my 3xl is due for delivery early afternoon.

I always go OtterBox Defender they are much improved from past versions - not as bulky, better drop protection, etc.

I knew that - got a clear one coming for my white XL - have the phone sitting on the desk next to me w/o a case - just a small band of white around the edges - so much for color -
It does recognize Roy Orbison's Pretty Woman from his Black and White Night album so I'm happy.

Love that fog colored fabric case. Picking mine up tomorrow morning. I got it for the black 3xl. Happy that there is smaller opening at the bottom compared to last years version

Compared to other cases I believe it is. For example between the speck and the fabric case, the speck case is very grippy but the look of the fabric case is great.

Hmm...might pick up one of the Bellroy leather cases then. Love the look of the fabric but I thought my 2XL was more slippery with the fabric case on than no case.
