I really loved the feel of the Pixel 2XL last year, and this year I really really love the feel of this year's Pixel 3XL, but my phones tend to slide off the arm of my recliner/rocker/swivel chair or sometimes how I sit they fall out of my pocket in between cushions against the metal leavers or hit the concrete floor. I would love to use my phones naked, but I worry about chips, cracks, and gouges in them.

I bought these for my Clearly White Google Pixel 3XL, and I am very satisfied with these cases:

OtterBox Symmetry Series Case - Gradient Energy (I love the glitter, it has a Teal to Pink to Purple transparent back) This is a very nice case not slick like other OtterBox phone cases. The clear material seems more grippy than their other plastic cases.

Places My Case - White (Protective is the only one available when purchased, 2XL also had Slim case) This is a very thin case and has a nice feel to it, not slippery.

I love the Google Pixel 3 Case that is covered in fabric, but I had the 2XL fabric case and to me it was too slippery to hold the big 2XL phone. I am sure it was a perfect grip on the Pixel 2, just not for the 2XL.

On larger phones I have trouble with a lot of case materials being too slippery or slick to hold without them sliding out of my hands or not having a comfortable grip. I do not have a grip problem with smaller phones using the exact same case materials.

I also go the symmetry case to hold me over until my case-mate black waterfall arrives. This case is a struggle to get on and off the phone.

Also, love the NYC Subway on your other case.

Ordered the Bellroy leather case over the Nomad leather case since there Pixel 3 Bellroy leather cases have the leather on the side as well compared to Pixel 2 where the sides were tpu. I'll will be receiving it mid next week so will post some pics once I receive it.

Ordered the Bellroy leather case over the Nomad leather case since there Pixel 3 Bellroy leather cases have the leather on the side as well compared to Pixel 2 where the sides were tpu. I'll will be receiving it mid next week so will post some pics once I receive it.

Ordered the Bellroy leather case for the XL, then decided to return the XL and get a non-XL. Have Spiegen Google Pixel 3 Case Slim Armor Black for the non-XL. When the Bellroy gets here I'm going to take a good look at it and see if I want to get one for the non-XL. It might dress the phone up a little for weekend social events -

Let us know. I'm considering bellroy for my black 3xl in caramel. I just received an extra $50 of store credit which will give me a $100 total and I might get the bellroy and the stand. It'll end up costing me $30 plus tax.

Case will be here Monday, will give it a good "look see" before I return it. I am a big Stand fan, really liked setting the XL on it rather than plugging it in. It charged the XL rather quickly too. Also, you could program the Stand to do other things, I had it set to play nature sounds for an hour to put me to sleep -

OT - Even though the case isn't here yet, I have the return shipping instructions and label all ready to go.

Kinda why I went the other way. Nomad gives 6 feet drop protection. Probably why with the tpu.

Please post your impressions. I think that is the case I want. I really want to know if you can use wireless charging with your cards in there, and overall impression of the leather. For $99, I expect good feeling leather!

Yep, used one on my OG XL, using one again for my 3XL. Great case for using a magnetic mount, and the perfect grip and feel.

does anybody have the Bellroy leather case for their 3 xl? Not the wallet, but the thin case.
I'm considering it with my $50 credit but it actually got some pretty poor reviews on the 2 xl so I'm hesitating.
On a video it looked like the power/volume buttons were hard to press. They're exposed, but don't protrude enough to press and the side bumper is plastic. I believe the sides are leather this year though.
Any comments would be appreciated.

The OtterBox symmetry case is the biggest pain to get off your phone. I appreciate the protection but wouldn't recommend.

I am a huge fan of the Seidio Spring Clip Holsters for naked devices and I usually hunt high and low to find something similar that will fit when they don't specifically make one for the phone I have..

The hunt was on to find one for my Pixel 3 non XL and bingo on the 1st attempt!

Happy camper as it was only $10...

I ordered the Otterbox Defender a couple of days ago from Verizon and it was just delivered via FedEx.

I purchased the 128GB Pixel 3 XL and I don't want my $1,000 phone to get damaged if I drop it.

I got the Symmetry one.

Thanks. Hopefully someone on here will have some hands on experience. I have the fabric on my 2xl currently and already have it for my 3xl. It also seems improved this year, not that it wasn't great already.
