Cases for the HTC One

Anyone else considering a wallet case? I ordered a "$30" wallet case for $5 off Amazon alongside an Incipio case so I can try out the phone/wallet hybrid lifestyle and see if it's any more convenient.

Link please :) I had a wallet case with the iPhone5, loved it. Hoping that there's one for the HTC One.

I went by best buy today and they wouldn't sell any accessories for the One yet, however they do have the Best Buy Sedio case with kickstand and holster for 35.00. I put my One in it and I like the way it fit. I don't really need the holster or kickstand so I might see if they have it without.

I was leaning towards this case for the combo of protection and a kickstand. I noticed that there is a hump right in the middle where the kickstand is. Is that annoying when you hold it?

After putting my phone in the one at Best Buy, I was suprised at how the case still gave the same feel it had without the case. In other words, it wasn't bulky at all and the kick stand didn't bother me.

Can anyone tell me if the Green Cruzerlite TPU cases are more of a regular green, or more lime green? Some pictures look like a grass green and some look lime. Love green...just not lime green or neon green. Ugh.
My wife has the Androidfied case for the EVO LTE, as seen here, and it's definitely a brighter lime green like in the pics. I was considering the orange Cruzerlite case for my One, but I ended up going with the less colorful black/grey Poetic cases instead. However, here are some Amazon listings that show the green Cruzerlite options for the HTC One:

Cruzerlite Androidified
Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit
Cruzerlite Android Clone Army

Also, I find it odd that the Cruzerlite website doesn't list the "Clone Army" version above, which is the same style as my wife's "Androidified" case for the EVO LTE. Oh well. Hope you find something you like. I'm excited to finally get my phone this evening! :D

Yeah I had already order a Case Mate but went ahead and pick a clear Androidified one as well. :)

I'm surprised more people don't opt for full body clear protector (like Clear Coat, Zagg, Skinomi, etc.) instead of cases. I'm fairly careful with my devices so I opt for these protectors to preserve the look and feel of the device.

I got a rocket fish? From best buy for like 17$ black with no branding. It's a feather like case but the front of the corners are fully exposed so ill likely return it. It was the only case they had yesterday.

I'm careful with mine too and never put it in a bag or pocket with anything else that could damage it, so I'm not worried about protecting it from minor scratches or scuffs or anything. I'm instead more concerned about the slow-motion "oh-no-this-can't-be-happening-I-never-drop-my-phone" moment that will occur probably once in the next 2 years. Yeah I'll have insurance on it, but even with it the deductible is $150 (with sprint), which is freakin' outrageous.

Unless those clear body protectors can absorb an impact and prevent dents and broken screens, then I'm going to opt for something a little thicker. I hate to cover up such a nice phone, but I'd hate more to see it get all jacked up.

I actually have both. A Skinomi full body protector and a Poetic Atmosphere. I don't have as much luck as others on here apparently. Never destroyed a phone but have gotten plenty of scratches and dings. IMO Gorilla Glass is nice but still prone to scratching.

I'm going with cruzerlite. Amazon has a buy 2 get one free using code Buy2Gone.

I had a nice looking thin Spigen case for my HTC EVO 4g LTE. It lasted a month and started cracking all over with no drops or falls. They replaced it and the second one did the same thing. I hope this ONE case is better. Just letting you know. On the other hand, their screen protectors are awesome.

Oops meant to reply to your post directly. This is in response to the Spigen One case in post 38 of this thread.

Any one with the otterbox defender?? Are there cut outs for the speakers?? And how does the touchscreen feel through the protector??

I have to travel in a crowded mumbai local everyday (you tube it to understand how bad it can get) so protection is a must have liked otter box cases so hope someone can give a hands on perspective

Why would be surprises they dont? It's common sense that the clear film offers zero protection against impacts from drops.

Going on history, I drop my phone all the time but typical scuffs scratches and dents don't bother me. I much prefer rolling naked and letting the phone age naturally. The speaker grates scare me though so I think Im going to get a poetic borderline when they become available again as hopefully a happy medium.

Well I picked up the otter box today and I'm very impressed with the case. Not to thick and gives great protection.
