Cases for the HTC One

Thanks for all the pictures. I hope there's a silver or white bumper case out there... only because I feel like black takes a bit away from the phone. This phone is silver aluminum and white... so a similar color bumper case would look a lot better.

I'll be going naked or with one of several clear cases most of the time, but got the Otterbox Defender (directly from their site) for those occasions that require some extra protection. I think I'm gonna send it back though - the built in screen protector is brutal. It fits so loosely on top of the One's screen that dust collects quickly, and it makes interacting with the screen difficult. If I already tossed all the FedEx packaging but still have the retail box, will there be any issues setting up a return to Otterbox?

I just got my Otterbox Commuter and like it. It's lilac color not pink like my other. He got a defender but doesn't really like it and I forgot it has the built in screen protector. Can that be taken off? I think I've read where people take it off but he may just return it all together and get the commuter. His favorite is the Seidio convert with holster but Sprint gave us each a free case so we can't complain. But I love mine better than the one that was on my EVO LTE the same one.

I'd love to use a clear case, but I keep a $20 inside there for emergencies.

Never thought to keep emergency money stashed in my phone. That's a pretty good idea. I suppose you could get one of the colored versions of the hyperion case, but there are a lot of other options that people have posted on the board as well. Good luck!

Haven't found a case that I like so far. I want a beautiful, gorgeous case that would even make the HTC one looks more beautiful. Any suggestion?

I just received the Incipio dualpro shine case and iam pretty happy with it, It fits nice and snug , cut outs are more then big enough and the volume keys work as though they aint covered at all which ive never experienced with a case before It doesn't add much bulk at all and while looking at the case may not be as sexy as looking at the phone naked but it looks quiet sleek if you ask me, Looks to handle finger prints very nicely too

How do you like the aluminum finish? Does it feel/look like it'll chip off or scrape off with use?

Images were took with the inbuilt cam on my imac Its nice, I haven't had many cases for phones but the best case i did have was an otterbox and although it was on a different phone and therefore a different shape etc I cant really compare them i guess but this certainly feels nicer in the hand and doesn't feel as bulky, Using the power/volume buttons is as easy as ever, There not hindered in any way at all (on my otterbox they were) Given that the finish is quiet shiny it may show scratches more then another case but i wouldnt imagine it will scratch any easier! Over all its naturally not as sexy as the phone is naked and maybe doesn't feel as nice as the cool touch of aluminum but its a sleek looking case that offers pretty decent protection with very little bulk so imo, you cant go wrong

Yes, I have that case and I love it. It's inexpensive, clear so you can see the phone, not bulky, good grip on sides and TPU so it offers some shock absorption. I ordered a Seidio Active as well when I need that extra protection, but for day-to-day the Cimo is great.


It has a cutout for the power button and its very easy to press.

Even though it says "frosted Clear" you can still see the phone perfectly through the back

I just ordered the Hyperion Matte 'Smoke' from Amazon. I am currently using the Seidio case with the kickstand. It is awesome, but the extra lump on the back that doesn't allow it to sit flat on the table is something I overlooked when purchasing it. I will keep it as a backup if I ever travel as I can see the kickstand being useful for flights, trains, etc.

I like the cruzerlite, how much was it? I really wanted a poetic but couldnt wait for the revised version so might get a cruzerlite as a spare to my dualpro which iam loving so far

The cruzerlite was 12.90 free shipping on amazon. If you use code buy2gone you buy 2 get one for free. They are a great company! Excellent product. They make three versions of the case with different designs on back, but I like the one I got because it has nice grips on the side.

I find that with most cases too, Thats one of the things iam loving about the dualpro The volume buttons work literally as they would naked, the cover makes no difference to them at all Given that its a shny case dust n stuff will likely show itself easily but other then that this case is awesome, not trying to push it on you btw ha
