Cases for the HTC One

Got the Speck Gemshell Clear Case today now just need the phone. It has open port where the power button is along with charging and earphone openings it has rubber covers on the side where the volume toggles are. Nice case that will show off the beauty of the phone lightweight not bulky. Ordered on the 8th and received it today!

As much as I hate putting a case on this phone, I was going to use the Otterbox commuter series. But I'm really liking the looks of
HTC One DualPro SHINE Dual Protection with Aluminum Finish
Does anyone know how this case is, compared to an Otterbox- protection wise???

Anybody had Incipio case/s before? Are they good quality? I'm considering these 2 cases from them, but have never seen/used one of their cases before.

I hate the idea of covering up such a beautiful device. I ordered the clear case from spigen but no delivery date given on email?

My Otterbox commuter series case arrived in the mail yesterday. It looks pretty good....cutout for the power button so IR blaster can work too. It's nearly the exact same size as my Evo LTE's Otterbox commuter case....only slightly taller.

I received my Poetic Atmosphere and it covers the power button, if that's a deal breaker I would avoid it.

I'll say this about Speck, they don't fool around on shipping, I ordered the Gem Shell case on Thursday morning and I had it in my hands today.
And that was the free standard US Mail shippng.
Case looks nice, solid, now it's Sprint's turn to get cracking and ship the One out ASAP.

It's not a deal breaker for me. Usually I take my phone out if the case at home because there's carpet all over and that's probably the only place I'd be able to take advantage of the IR Blaster. Do you have a silver or black ONE?

I tend to agree but I do like the extra warm fuzzy feeling I get when using an Otterbox defender. I find the only phones I have ever broke were the ones tha did not have an Otterbix on them. Probably more luck than anything like you sai but there is a bit of comfort knowing that.

I left the AT&T store this morning and the Defender case for the HTC One looked very thick and bulky compared to the one I have on my One x. I hope the Commuter case is not so thick.

Let us know how you get on and what the case is like. Been looking at this myself but didn't order as I didn't think it was available yet. Like the idea of keeping the phone visible.

My front and back screen protectors came in. All the protection I want LOL. I had one of these on my N4 and iPhone 5 and it is great. Clear, tough and keeps scratches and nicks off. Of course it won't do anything about protecting impact on drops but I just can't stand cases. I buy them and wind up taking them off. Living life on the edge I guess.

I read it was supposed to ship starting april 9th but on the website it still says ships it 1-2 weeks

Now that I have the Speck case, I went to my Radio Shack and picked up a Zagg Invisible Shield. The clerk was saying how they have a bunch of cases in but still don't have the One. I told her it's because the One was supposed to be out by now but it was delayed because of manufacturing issues (camera parts shortage).

Is the case thicker or thinner than other commuters? I saw that color scheme too and liked it. Do you think the white will get dirty fast?
