Cases for the HTC One

Looks nice. Please keep us posted on yellowing/wear!

I will...have a couple others but will use this one awhile and if I notice any problems with scratches on the case that are noticeable or yellow tint I will let you know.

I still have the Poetic Bumper and Spigen Clear cases on order, but both got pushed back or delayed.

Think I'm going to have to make a trip to my local sprint store and pick up a speck candyshell or the htc case if they have it. (by the way, is it odd to go to a store for a carrier you don't have to buy an accessory?)

Sprints lame and didn't have any cases at my closest store. The ATT store had the candyshell grip though. That'll do for now.

I opted for the Nillkin. Found US seller on ebay for $10 + free shipping. Has a nice solid feel and fits like a glove. I don't like a lot of bulk added and this case is perfect. Won't protect front much in a fall but I'm careful with my gadgets and I'm mainly concerned about setting my phones down on the table and such, so this works for that perfectly.

It also included/came with a clear screen film/protector but I hate those things...

Very nice. Thanks for the pics.

Did you have any issues with the seller or delivery, and would you recommend them? Also, any trouble with the case near the power button? Is there too much lip or is there enough space to register the push if your finger is reaching for it from behind? (I know that sounds bad. Forgive me.)

Does anyone know if the Incipio dualpro shine case is in fact made of aluminum ? or is it just plastic but looks like aluminum? I ask because i saw a review of one on youtube (not for the htc one though) and the guy described it as plastic but "looks" like steel!! And would this case or the carbon fiber model be better? If anyone has either can you give a short review describing the look and feel of the case and are the volume keys easy to press?

Loving the gray/green dualpro also but shame they havent got that one in stock

Per Amazon: " the back is plastic painted with a metallic like paint, not real metal." "The outer shell is in fact plastic that is finished to look like aluminium." :)

I picked up the Incipio DualPro SHINE. I bought it largely because it was one of the few cases in stock at the AT&T store I swung by. I like it.

It's one of those cases w/ the rubber interior that you then snap in to a harder shell. It fits snug, it doesn't embiggen the phone's profile too badly, and the cutouts for the ports are big. That's a plus for me, as the Aux cable in my car tends to have too wide a diameter to fit through most phone cases, and I always have to pop the phones out of their case in the car. Won't be a problem here.

A few pics (taken with a Nexus 4 BTW) :

You should have tried the carbon fiber one.

Really like this one. If I could get it with a holster clip I'd be sold. Only use a case at work to protect from scratches so I don't need something real thick

You're welcome! No issues whatsoever. The seller was great, shipped the next day and I received it 2-3 days later. I have no problem using the power button, no more than normal without the case due to the smallish button and the way the phone itself is tapered away from the back/bottom. There is barely a lip on the ends.

Other than the Speck and otterbox cases, are there any other slim cases that also cover the entire outside edge of the phone, including the volume buttons? All of the super slim cases seem to have cutouts for the volume, which I actually don't want.

The poetic atmosphere covers the volume buttons. Too bad it also covers the start button.
However, poetic has sent out an email saying those that already have the case will get a revised edition.
This is a very form fitting case.

I would just throw it there: I have used Incision Feather cars on a number of devices over the years. Every one has had problems with staining, discoloration and the matte coating rubbing off. When I have contacted incipio about this, they have always replaced the cases no questions asked. While this is great customer service, it indicates to me that they know that this is an issue with the feathers materials.

Just my personal experience.
