Cases for the HTC One

Does anyone have a pic of the UAG case and is it available in the UK?

No idea about the UK. Here's a couple blurry pics. You probably wanted to see the phone in the case but I have no other camera. lol Hopefully these will do. :)

I had this case with black aluminium finish and you are right. Fingerprints make the whole phone look ugly. In addition the case is really hard;-) and tight. While taking it off it made a small dent on the speaker grill. It?s also easy to scratch the case.

Now I have glasst on the screen and poetic atmosphere around the phone (grey/clear) . I wasn't convinced about the poetic but it looks better on the phone than on the photos. Doesn't add up much to the phone. Still looks slim.

Glasst - my first experience with this kind of screen protector, usually don't use any. used once invisible shield on iPhone and that was it...never again this kind of crap . U could always see it on the screen, changed contrast, visibility outside, feeling when touching the screen, dirt building up on the edges ... Honestly what's the point to have such a beautiful screen?...

But going back to glasst - it's good, not perfect. There's a small lag on the screen (I have UK update), sometimes I just want to scroll (webbrowser, fb) but the phone reacts like I'm clicking on the screen, annoying. Sliding left, right as well, screen is behind your finger. Home and back buttons work well.
Looking at the screen inside you won't see any difference outside I think the glass is a bit foggy and less clear than gorilla glass.

Overall I think it's the best available compromise between the look, feel and protection.

did you get the black version? do you have any issue with fingerprints? I read fingerprints are a pain to remove. Mind posting pics?

I got the grey version so it looks more like aluminum. On the grey version, I do get some smudging from fingerprints, but I find them quite easy to remove. I'll post pics if you want to see the grey version

Does anyone have experience with this screen protector?
Amazon.com: SPIGEN SGP HTC ONE 2013 Screen Protector Clear Steinheil [Ultra Crystal] [2-PACK] Front Screen Protector / HTC One M7 Screen Protector: Cell Phones & Accessories

I am leaning towards the skinomi but I am seeing conflicting things about the screen protector posted above. Is it really as faulty as most of the amazon reviewers say?

I didn't read the amazon reviews, but I had it and it worked fine. The reason I replaced it is because it's cut smaller/shorter....on purpose. Packaging says as much. I went with the Media Devil and love it.

Amazon.com: MediaDevil Magicscreen Screen Protector: Crystal Clear (Invisible) - HTC One (2 x Screen Protectors) - IMPORTANT: only compatible with the "HTC ONE", and not the other devices in the HTC One Range: Cell Phones & Accessories

I had one and didn't like them. I was constantly having to clean off the finger smudges. Going without one now (until I find one better) and maby have to clean the screen once a day maybe.

Who cares how someone chooses to spend their money? If they want to buy 4 cases, so be it. I've purchased 7 cases and 3 screen protectors. Why? Because I can! And not ashamed to admit I have a problem. lol. :)

The more the better! It's like choosing what outfit to wear when you go out. It's fun to accessorize

Many women have their purses, we (including the women here mind you) have our phones. :-P

Yeah, pics would be nice, I'm on the fence of getting this in black but I would hate having to deal with smudges, might get the normal soft touch version or the nilkin shield.

Pics as requested: You can see a bit of smudging in the first pic with the flash on. All I do to get the smudges off it rub it off with my fingertips.

Personally I hate cases especially when they cover up a beautiful piece of hardware like the One so I always go with something that isn't too bulky and still manages to show off some of the phone's design. I decided for the One I wanted a flip case that would cover and protect the entire back of the phone but when opened would expose the front. I was just about to purchase the HTC Double-Dip Flip but changed my mind after reading multiple bad reviews. Instead I went with a cheaper Nillkin Thin Side flip case and absolutely love it. It's thin and provides an amount of protection that is perfect for me. It also has two cut-outs for the speakers that are wide enough that you can see the notification LED (I read a review somewhere that said the Double-Dip Flip covers the notification LED. Don't ask me why an aftermarket manufacturer had an enough brains to make the cut-out large enough so the LED is visible and HTC didn't on their own product but that's what happened I guess). My only complaint with the Nillkin flip case is that at $17 the fit n' finish is not the best but by no means is it bad either.

Sometimes I need a holster so I also purchased the Seidio Spring Clip. I have used Seidio products in the past and like them a lot. This is just a very simple spring clip holster and I have no complaints other than the plastic seems cheaper than what I am used to seeing on Seidio holsters. Past Seidio holsters I have purchased were made out of plastic that had an almost rubberized coating that seemed like a more expensive material than the regular plastic this holster is made out of.

I also have this Spigen Ultra Thin Air case which is a piece of crap IMO. I actually didn't even want this case but it came with the Spigen screen protector I bought or I should say the screen protector came with the case but either way it was a combo deal I purchased mainly for the screen protector. The case is flimsy and has some rough edges. Also because it is crystal clear smudges and/or dust/dirt that gets between the phone and the case is easily visible. It is also difficult to adjust the volume rocker but I think the major problem with this case is the clear plastic. If it was a solid color I think I might have liked it a lot better. If you are in the market for a snap-on case like this the Incipio Feather might be a better choice.

I know the Poetic Atmosphere has been beaten to death in this thread, but I just got mine yesterday and thought I'd post some pics. It's really nice. I wish it was a *tiny bit* less matte finish, but overall it's still basically transparent so it doesn't detract much from the phone's appearance. I like the gray trim on the back and borders, too.

(I also have the Seidio Surface w/Kickstand/Holster combo coming, should be there when I get home today. I also have a (mostly) clear TPU case. I like that one, but it almost makes the One appear white rather than silver/aluminum.)

The pics are so-so...taken with my work iPhone 5 in my office, so the lighting is fluorescent but not that great.

Good thinking....

Considering that the power button is also the IR for the remote functionality, if that's important to you.

I got the same poetic case. Still waiting on mine to be delivered. Might just take an exacto knife and trim off the power button cover part of the case. We'll see tho.

Just got my "Cimo Tpu" case today! Love this thing! Perfect blend between flexible and firm, and it fits nicely.
