Cases for the Nexus 6P

I would be interested to hear from those that get the Toast wooden case. Love to hear a real world review from a forum member.

Im sure I'm not telling you anything you don't know, but that's a skin, not a case ... AC just did an article on it if you're looking for a review ... probably some user feedback in the comments section
 
So far all I have is: 2 Cruzerlite Bugdroid cases & The official Nexus 6p case from the Google store. I absolutely prefer the Bugdroid cases...

I finally got the carbon microfiber case when it came back in stock and I really do like it. Adds grip without adding bulk to the phone. I had it on the table at dinner with friends and everybody commented on both the phone and the case.

I ordered the Speck Candyshell Grip case over the weekend thanks to the sale. I used that one for phones in that past. That will at least give me an option that I am used to.

Anyway, ordered the Speck case from Google on Black Friday. It shipped the next day and arrived while I was away last week. Get home, super excited to throw it on the phone. Open up the packaging and it's for the 5x. What the heck? Check my order confirmation and everything shows I ordered the case for the 6p. I contact google and they tell me that they are sorry for the wrong item being shipped. To fix the problem they want to refund me my $20(because it was a black Friday-cyber Monday deal), and then reorder it. However, when I ask if I still get to order it for the same price, I was told no. After asking the rep why I am out double the money because of a problem in the shipping department, I get told they will escalate it to see what the result is. Just don't see how if every receipt and order confirmation(confirmed by google) shows that I ordered the 6p, yet have to spend the 40 on it instead of 20 because they shipped the wrong case. If that's going to be the deal, that means I am back looking for another case.
 
For anyone using the official Google case, what type of screen protector do you use? If like to try a tempered glass protector but I don't want to get one that the case will push up when installed.

Spigen TGSP with the microfiber case ... fits perfectly

that rep doesn't know what he/she is talking about. I don't know a company that wouldn't honor the sale price. In fact, they should give you play store credit on top of it for the inconvenience. I'd be shocked if they don't honor it though.

I was thinking they should just ship the 6P case and let you keep the misfill.

Agree with all 3 of you. Completely disappointed with them. Hopefully will hear something tomorrow. I offered to do a cross shipment back as long as I knew the item I ordered was on its way.

While all this waiting is going on, today they did offer me $10 play store credit. With the strange caveat that it can't be used on a device or accessories. The whole situation is pretty laughable right now. Almost makes me want to dump the 6p and nab something else.

I don't blame you for feeling that way, I've certainly done things out of spite before. That said, don't let some nitwit ruin your enthusiasm for the 6p. Hopefully they'll do what's right.
 
If you ordered the Poetic Revolution case for the 6P and the cable didn't fit in the port, email them for a free replacement. I got mine yesterday and all is well now. I don't use it as of now though, because I prefer the Candy Shell Grip in hand. I might get the white just to keep and change it up.

I think I'm going with the Cruzlite soft case & the Supcase heavy duty. It's similar to the combo I had on my N6, but the heavy duty was an I-Blason.
 
Ordered the Ringke Fusion in smoke black for my graphite 6P. It should be in tomorrow
