Cases for the Nexus 6P

I'm going to disagree with you on the bulk factor though. This is a pretty slim case for the 6p. I think the only thing that would be slimmer than this verus would be some type of snap on plastic shell.

Regardless, I may look for something else. I wanted at least some protection and while I think it'll be OK for scratches and small fumbles I'm not sure I'd trust it in a shoulder high drop.

I just got my Verus case delivered (thankfully no damage), and I agree with this. It's a pretty slim case. About as slim as I'm expecting the Adopted case to be. One thing that I haven't seen mentioned is the material though. Based on the pictures I was expecting the case to be made out of a more rigid plastic, but it's a bendy TPU case with a hard plastic frame around the band. I actually prefer it this way. If it fits like it should, it'll feel perfectly snug with the phone inside. I'm sure the laser autofocus will have plenty of room, but the hole for the fingerprint scanner does look a little bit small. Obviously not having held the phone yet I can't say much, but just from comparing it to official cases, I hope it fits.

Mine came damaged as well -- but at the usb charger port of the bumper - and not as bad as yours. Sorry! Unfortunately I/we have to pay for return shipping. Not cool Verus. I won't be ordering from them again.

DO NOT PAY FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING! This is in no way your fault. I sent them a message saying that it came damaged and attached pictures as well. Their packaging is terrible, and i kindly let them know that I wanted to fix this before i went and left a review. They sent me a return shipping label the very next day. Don't pay for their mistakes.

If you ordered through Amazon, contact Amazon. You should, under no circumstances, pay for return shipping on a damaged item. It wasn't your fault.

Looks like I dodged a bullet by avoiding Versus.

Their cases looked beautiful in photos, but i looked at their listing on amazon and it just seemed a little sketch to me. So I bailed. From what people are saying and seeing, I doubt the Versus case would survive a 3 foot drop onto concrete. What's the point of a protective case if you need to replace it when dropped?

I grabbed the adopted case for one of the 6p phones i ordered, and i ordered the spigen case for the other. I'm afraid the spigen won't be here next week when my phones arrive, so I'll just have to order something temporary or be really careful with it.

I'll probably keep my eyes out for better cases in the future, but for now these guys should do.

Has anyone seen any slim fitting cases other than the ones in the Google Store? I've been scouring the Internet and I've gotten nothing. I really want another Ringke Fusion type case (pictured). I had one on my N5 and it was hands down the best clear case I've ever owned. Now they're very slippery. They're making one for the 5X, but I haven't seen any 6P renders.

I bought two FUSIONs for my N6. Crystal clear and Crystal clear with mint edging. Both are not slippery on the edges. I love these cases because the show off the phone. Bought the Spigen Crystal clear and hated the sharp edges.

Nice feeling, simple case if you're looking for something very slim. Has a matte finish on the back for easier grip. I'm currently using an iPhone 6+, and this case looks like it was made for it.

Thanks for the link! I ended up getting it. I really want a clear case and this looks perfect. I have this one and verus case ordered. The only thing that sucks is that the spigen won't be delivered until around november 12-16.

I ordered one of these, but clear, so am glad to hear your report. It looks like it will be my main case initially. I also ordered the Spigen Hybrid, but it won't come until a week or two later.

I like the idea of a clear case, I'm not really wanting to cover the 6P. I also don't want to add much bulk to what is already a large phone.

Hi all, after some initial skepticism (bolstered by my N5's bettery being all sorts of wiggy and the N6P's excellent reviews) I also preordered a Nexus 6P. Has there been any word about a potential reasonable slim holster case? I have the i-blason dual layer thing on my nexus 5 and I'd rather not add that kind of bulk to the N6P (and honestly, I rather like the N6P's lines), but I don't like to keep my phone in my pocket. I'd be satisfied with a decent slim case and a good pouch-type belt clip case that would fit it (though I prefer the holster type / swivel clip).

What do you ladies and gentlemen consider the best hard case? I use it to put a quad lock on the back for my car and bike, currently using an Otterbox commuter on my Droid 2.

This case will only be used for the mounts, I will probably get a folio for regular use.

After reading positive reviews online and on Android Central, I finally gave in and ordered the Nexus case. The lighter shade was sold out, so I ordered a Carbon for the Aluminum (silver) device.

Did anyone else receive their Verus case from the $2 deal? I received a defective one. Blocks the autofocus still..

Update:
I contacted Verus support and they will be sending out a revised replacement. Overall a very nice case.
