Although I like the i-Blason, I just ordered a $1 neoprene sleeve and am going to wait for the official Premium Case.

I had one for my iPad... Fantastically well made and gorgeous, but the wood frame did not stand up well to the rigors of travel and the occasional drop. After maybe a year the frame was splintered and nearly worthless, but the exterior looked good as new. For my needs a "soft" fabric and plastic/rubber case works much better. YMMV.

I have Portenzo for my 1st gen N7. Nice material and well made. I feel that my N7 is well protected. The only downside is it's heavy and bulky.

Keep me updated when your case arrive. I also want to order one, but I see the reviews on it are all for the 1st generation Nexus 7, and their display picture is still using the 1st generation!? I have an i-blason ipad mini case and I love it.

I'd be happy with a TPU case. I have a TPU case for when I'm at home along with a Poetic case when I'm out and about for my OG Nexus 7. Hoping to do the same for this one.

I'm using a TPU case from the old N7. It stretches enough to fit sort of. The cutouts are all different, but it allows me to hold it without sliding down in my hand.

I have the original N7 version of this and love it. Tried multiple cases and this one stuck. Most importantly, nothing covers the bezels when you have it open. It's also easy to slip in and out of and the stand mechanism is good.

It was a no-brainer to hold out for this one for my 2013 Nexus.

Really? I bought a Poetic based off suggestions from this forum and it was a horrid case in every way. Ugly, left marks on the screen, and literally fell apart after a few months. I barely used it, in fact I kept my old N7 naked most of the time, only putting on the case when travelling with it. Frayed edges, parts cracking off. Awful awful case.

You must have had the old versions. With the final version fraying was pretty impossible. I've used mine for months everyday all the time. No cracked parts either. Although there were marks on the screen from the cover but I just wiped it off no biggie and it only happened sometimes.

Yeah, I have this for my 2012 Nexus 7 as well. Great case. Ordered one for my 2013 (which I have to return to Best Buy because of a flaky LCD backlight but I've re-ordered from the Play store).

1. Moko Case (I like the carbon fiber black)
2. i-Blason Case
3. FINTIE Case
4. i-UniK Case
5. SUPCASE

Though I don't think I want to wait until Aug. 20th for the Moko so I might just pull the trigger on the i-Blason. Are people still liking the i-Blason?

Yes, these are the Cruzerlite Androidified TPU cases. I bought quite a few of these in different colors for my 1st gen Nexus 7. I love them. I actually had asked them a couple days ago when they were going to be releasing these and they gave me a link to Amazon for pre-order. I like how sturdy the rubber grips are because it doesn't feel like it's going to fall out of your hand.

Maybe not. I just tried my old Nexus 7 case and it worked find with my charger. Also I use a charger on my DNA and it charges just fine.
