I'm not sure where he got the radio.img, but I can only assume he didn't modify it in any way. It came from Sprint somewhere. If I lived in India I would not flash a new radio, just in case.

hmmm that answers perfect !! but the improvement in signal strength & battery backup is very tempting to try ... I am in a fix as to try or not.! and bcoz freshh2.0b didnt work for me, i am all the more skeptic..

It should function just fine. This ROM has a customized kernel that uses Linux cpu scaling and not HTC's power managment, just like my 1.5 releases.

thats good news... i am gng to install setCPU right away .. but what settings do u recommend for this ROM/kernel ?

Yes and no and maybe lol. The APN is what determines your "address" on the network. CDMA devices don't really have one, but Android uses xml files in the framework to create a fake one. this will affect SMS/MMS, cell triangulation based location services, and voice signal strength, but regular data services may still work as expected once a connection is made. Not really sure on the last bit, need to do some more reading.

well my regular calls were working, but data was not ! SMS also had a lot of FC.. i get a new msg, and open the sms app.. i see all the msgs grouped into one single thread, i try to open that & it FCs... (saying andoid.mms failure or something) i dont knw how many sms i lost like that!

I even tried to flash Gumbo 2.1a and then update to fresh 2.0b, to check if it works... i get more FCs all round... any app tht i try to open FCs, data again no go, sms same FC and $**t.. so i come back to my good Gumbo 2.1a, but want to try radio !! so.. still thinking

Hey Gbhil your not building ROM's anymore but maybe you can help this guy Damageless on XDA get his ROM working 100% so far its a few people testing and working on it to help him along with the Updates for the ROM..

Question. Does anyone know why ##3282# for the Sprint advanced menu does not work? Is there any way to fix that? I'm pretty sure it is a common issue across most Rom's.
I want to get in and change my slot cycle to help with ringer lag.

i think that is due to the use of some gsm sources, which may (i guess) include the dialer app or something like tht, which dont understand the cdma settings codes..
