Cell network not connecting need help

My note 2 won't connect to vzw network it has not 4g or 3g.. Just kind of stopped working. I can't seem to get it back on and don't particularly want to factory reset the phone. I currently have it rooted and unlocked.

Go to settings> about phone> baseband what does it say

Silly question, but is mobile data on (pull down notification bar and ensure there's a green bar below it and the arrows are green)? Also try powering down, removing battery and SIM card for a few minutes to let the phone reset and force it to re-provision itself on the network on next power up.

Really I just stuck my sim into my nexus to see if that has data.

Verizon is reporting a network Issue.

Seeing the same thing on both my and my wife's MAXX's. A friend also texted me that his GS3 is having the same problem. He said that he was on with vzw for an hour and they told him that there are LTE network issues n PA and NY.

Looks like 3G only phones are fine though. I went in and turned off LTE (set to CDMA only) and still wasn't able to connect. At least WiFi is working.

Ah I'm in Delaware and my nexus has no data but my dad's iPhone does oh well just gonna have to wait it out..

I'm in Arizona..... haven't had any problems at all! Full 4g.

Same here in central Alabama. Appears the issue was isolated to some areas in the Northeast U.S.
