I just noticed Cell Standby is draining battery, its on top...

Is this related to 4G network? because I rarely get 4G signal, so if I turn it off and use 3G, will it solve this issue and I will get better battery life?

It is an unlocked model, I live in the middle east and chose one of the carriers available here.

Ohh thats a new one, i have an unlocked 815 and no issue with that here in the States. Factory Reset already?

I do have 4G selected atm, didn't notice how much it used when I had 3G selected.

I don't know if this is an issue or if this is normal. Will it help if I post a screenshot of it, showing how much it used in X hours?

If so, let me know if to charge the battery, or leave the phone unused for a while, before taking the screenshot (so you will be able to compare the info with yours).

I also had this issue. Cell standby and phone were taking lots of battery according to the chart. Actual battery didnt seem too bad though. I turned off enhanced LTE (for HD voice) and it doesn't show up anymore.

He said he has an unlocked model and he is in the Middle East. You have an AT&T branded/locked/tied down to your master device that he is free of.

OP, how is your signal where you are? You may be having issues because of weak signal in your area. Simply turn off your data when you are in weak areas and turn it on when you know you will be in a good area or just need it. Having your data on constantly will cause your radio to go in search of a signal in a weak area and drain your battery.

I always get signal, everyone can call me anytime of the day.

Do you mean turn off mobile data at times I do not use them? Or just use 3G instead of 4G (usually I get "H" signal only, not "4G")

You could try turning off LTE if all you get is 3G, keep it from searching for it.

It's under mobile networks and network mode. Actually for my H815 being on 2G/3G and blocking LTE/4G was the default, I had to go turn it on.
