I just noticed that there’s a CF-Auto-Root (SM-N910V) for Verizon Note 4.

Has anyone rooted their Verizon Note 4 using this?

Does it work?

That's only for the Verizon Developer Edition, which can only be obtained directly from Samsung here: Samsung Galaxy Note ® 4 (Verizon), Charcoal black.

Still no root yet for the retail version (that most people have). :(

Thanks for the quick reply. How can you tell it's for the developer edition? I was going by the model number of my unit (SM-N910V); is there another way to check the designation (that I obviously missed)? The links I have are below:

Thanks for your help.

It sounds like some of the devs at XDA might have found some exploits that could potentially be used to root both Verizon and AT&T retail models.

Thanks. :) Saw that this morning too; they found an exploit in the camera module but sounds like they still need to find another exploit in the same area to gain root. Still holding out hope if just to be able to use AdAway! :)

Adaway is the only reason I rooted my T-Mobile Note 4 and I'm about to root my Note Edge. I was just waiting a few days to make sure that there are no problems with my Note 4 first after rooting.
