Change Background in Conversation Screen

Hi,

After the new update the background in conversations is white and so are the names. Any idea on how to change either or?

You can change the background in the messages app by using a theme in the Samsung Theme Store.

Here is one example.

Go into messages, at top right click the 3 dots. Select settings and then backgrounds. Select a picture from your gallery and set it to be the background in messages.
 
That is not what they are asking. You are changing the background for a conversation, not for the messages conversation list. They want to change the background in the conversation list. You cannot change that one without a theme.

If this is for an S7 Edge, then I found a way to make the font more visible. Go to settings- display-go to the bottom where it asks, looking for something else? and click on vision. Turn on high contrast fonts. This way, you don't have to change your background. I didn't even realize there were names written on the conversation screen until I had my phone tilted in just the right way.
