Hi, I'm new to the forum and, for that matter, to android. Got fed up of "same phone, innovative new design" bs, and am finding android much more palatable tbh.

Anyway, as above, I'm wondering if there's any way to default my downloaded pics to my secure folder? I doubt it due to the pattern being required, but thought I'd ask those in the know.

Android 10 if that helps?

Many thanks,
Mikey.

Unfortunately, nope. Unless the generating app (i.e. camera app, browser downloading media, etc.) is also launched IN Secure Folder, the default folder will still be in an unsecured location; you'd have to manually move the files to the Secure Folder.

If you, however, launch the app from Secure Folder, the images should automatically save in the same secure location (practically having two separate phones).

You can share/transfer the gallery pictures to secure lock , but camera default is sd card or gallery.
