Hi guys, I own a G6 H870 from a Claro, a local carrier from Brazil. The problem on my G6 is that it came loaded of bloatware and useless stuf. I know that if I remove the bloatware by rooting my device I may lose my warranty, so I was wondering, If I change the my firmware to a global one, will it work? do I lose warranty on that? Ive seen here https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h870-firmwares/ that theres a lot of firmwares available, but I dont even know wich to download or if theres one with no bloatware on. What should I do? Im tired of just disable tha app... I wanna get rid the carrier bloatware!

You have to have firmware meant for your specific model of G6. If not from the carrier officially then the custom rom has to be made for your model specifically.

yes, I know that, but if I install another firmware, will I lose my warranty?
You stated you wanted to change your firmware to a global one. That won't work. But if they find out yes you will lose your warranty.

Ok.. So no way to remove the bloatware without rooting and losing my warranty?

Rooting your device implies losing your warranty. It's always best to stay away from carriers when buying phones. It might be a little cheaper but you also compromise future software updates which are released, in your case, THROUGH your carrier. Rooting your device might brick your phone, and then you 're screwed. BTW I live in Argentina, claro sucks BIG TIME.
