Change S7 Message App bubble style/color

It just amazes me how Samsung can go so far left in improving some things and totally botching or changing the most basic stuff for now reason.. Jeesh

You can use your own background in messaging. Go to setting. Go to Applications. Go to Messaging.....Then Backgrounds....It will automatically take you to Gallery. Make your choice..Apply.. Save...Voila!!!!!!

Actually! All you have to do is go to your settings and change from Standard Mode to Easy Mode. Then you can customize your texting bubbles, screen colors, etc. Your icons will be bigger but you will now have 5 screens instead of 2 for those

Does anyone know how to change the bubble style in the "Messages" app? Right now the background color of the text messages I receive is in blue and the messages I send are in yellow.

I l upgraded from the Galaxy S5 and on that phone bubble color were reversed

Hey bud download Messages Plus! It's what you are looking for!

Being able to change the background in every screen would be nice. Having a white background and getting a text in the middle of the night can be painful, even with the auto-brightness on.

I was using Textra, but decided to try the stock app for a while to evaluate the better integration with my gear s2 and gear s3.

What will a 3rd party app do to my phone s7 edge if I did. Because I don't like the beige and white bubble colors.

No way is Textra SMS buggy as you say. Absolutely no way.

Hmmm, do you work for Textra or something...lol. I've tried it before and as the other person stated "it's buggy". That's being kind. After a few weeks of it running, started having horrible lag issues on my device, rapid battery drain, hot battery, and weird ads popping up in my notification bar. As soon as I uninstalled Textra, all those issues cleared up.
