Can anyone tell me how to change the 4 app shortcuts on the lock screen?

Go to settings; security; lock screen options. From there you can change the apps. You will need to remove an app before you can add another. Of course, you remove an app by selecting it and dragging it to the trash.

Thank you. I had been there before, but never realized that I needed to tap on the words, not the button, to get there.

How to change the default "4" shortcuts? Why not 6 or more shortcuts?
