Change the default SMS app?

It seems that Messages is the default texting app on the LG Watch Sport. And when you go into Settings > Connectivity > Cellular, the Default SMS app only offers "com.google.android.apps.messaging."

Anyone know how or if they changed theirs a third-party app like Pulse or Telegram?

I don't think you can, as those apps aren't messaging apps, they're IM apps. You might be able to use special commands for that (possible on apps like Whatsapp).

I use pulse but so far I've only tested with the stand alone Android Wear version with the lifetime membership. It works well especially when I'm not by the phone. I still get my texts. That will hold me over until TMobile has a free line promotion again.
