Change Your Phone Number?

Hello all,

I just got my Note 8 yesterday, I changed from VZW back to AT&T at the same time, my number did NOT change.

Now every time I reboot my Note the Google Play Service asks "Change your phone number?" and I have to login to my Google account to authenticate that my number is my number.

I have done this many times. I have logged into my Google account from my computer and verified everything is correct. I've changed my security settings, I've changed the number and then changed it back... Nothing seems to work.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have a way to stop this?

TIA

- Bob

Did you create a contact profile for yourself in contacts. Had the issue with an s6 that I used on a different SP. The profile cured the issue for me.

I have the same issue, but it started when I switched from 6p to pixel xl. I used the same sim and carrier, and my number has remained the same. Pretty annoying. The message seems to comes up after each reboot, and maybe at other times, but it is not often enough for me to notice a pattern other than possibly reboots. I'm on Oreo 8 latest (oct security updates).
