Changed wallpaper

On the Nvidia Shield K1 tablet, I had a certain wallpaper set for the background. Having not changed any settings, the wallpaper changed to a different background and the original wallpaper no longer exists. How can the wallpaper change on its own and the original wallpaper get deleted?

Was it a custom wallpaper? If so, was it saved on Internal Storage or the microSD card?

It was a stock wallpaper. Best way to describe the one that was set and has now changed is a cliff/water wallpaper.

Hmm. Any 3rd party wallpaper apps or lockscreens installed?

Everything on the tablet is stock. No add ons.

Did the device recently get a system update? These can sometimes change the available stock wallpapers--especially if you're going up an Android version.
