Changing default app specific notification sound

I just got an LG G7 and I changed my standard notification sound, but GroupMe seems to been given a default sound that I cannot change. It is almost ten seconds long, which is way too much. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change an individual app's notification sound. Please help.

Specific app sounds need to be changed within the app itself, so it probably has a Notification sound setting somewhere in there. You can also use 3rd party apps that support per-app notifications, like LightFlow
