Recently I bought a Sony Xperia S and whilst the firmware is generic, it has Chinese as the default language (SwiftKey fixed that issue though)...
The main problem however, is that certain services available in Australia - such as PlayStation Pocket - do not work on my smartphone because the Internet thinks that I'm a Hong Kong customer; some of my service provider's services also do not work and I suspect this has something to do with it.
How hard would it be to change the firmware to generic Australian, and how would I go about doing it?
