Changing Google Accounts

I just upgraded from my HTC Hero to a Droid 2 Global. I love the phone the only problem is that I decided to switch my primary account on the phone. I still have both but when I was downloading apps on my new phone I realized that I hadn't bought them with the new primary account. I don't want to buy these apps again. Is there any way I can link the accounts or temporarily switch accounts to download the apps and then switch back. And if I can switch can I still get the updates being signed in on a different account? Thanks

You don't have to actually use your primary account for your email. Gmail will support multiple accounts (I actually have 4 on mine). Several of my friends just use their primary just for their apps and use there old account for email. Just a thought. I'll see if I can find anything else on your issue.

Edit: Google market help says that apps CAN NOT be changed to another google account. They can be retrieved only by using the account they were purchased with. Sorry. Here's the link if you want to check it out.
