Changing Loading screen ?

I would like to change my loading screen....Is it possible? and is it easy? I saw this awesome loading screen here: xda-developers - View Single Post - ModMIUI theme (New: version for LOL v. 1.4 ROM)

But i think the theme is only for 2.2....I have 2.3.7 CM7Kraven

That one works. Just pull the bootanimation.zip out of the theme download and copy to your SDcard. Then in settings/Cyanogen Mod settings/ interface/ choose the bootanimation.zip. And reboot.

EDIT: What res. should the video be...some boots have 2 to choose from

EDIT 2: Is there a way to add sound to animations?

Choose MDPI for bootanimations.

You can add sound, but i don't think you can sync it with the video. [How To] Boot Sound - xda-developers

You might need the sound binary. The app called Boot Animation Changer will install it. Then you put mp3s in the folder it says to. Try that maybe.

i have changed the binary with that program and it didn't work... i have also gone through the programming myself and i didn't see anything wrong with it.. i added the binary myself and the code required to activate the sound during boot up.....does anyone with experience with the code of a phone have any ideas...i must be missing something

not really the answer your looking for but I've read (not sure in which rom thread might be scot Pilgrim's.) that it's not do able on our phone due to something LG or SPRINT did.
