So, I can't believe that I used to use Pandora Radio on my phone and my laptop but as of recently I was reading reviews that Pandora was automatically upgrading peoples service from the free service to the premium subscription even with the free version of it they shouldn't be doing that of course and I just switched back to Google Play music! Seems to run a little bit smooth on my phone and it's good enough for my music needs. what does everyone else here use?

I use spotify i just find it quick and easy to use where you can download music on the go without having to wait

I use Google Play Music. Pandora is awful.
Yeah apparently so. I honestly wouldn't mind I'm not a big music Aficionado but the fact they change the subscription service on me without my knowing it is unacceptable. Google play music is good enough for me. Yeah I was looking at the Spotify but it connected to my old deactivated Facebook account and it's more annoying than anything to log into.

I just loaded up my 128 GB micro SD card with a bunch of music and hit shuffle. Old school but I don't use data or have to rely on WiFi. Pandora drives me crazy and I haven't messed with Spotify yet. My old school method works well for my needs.

I have pandora and Spotify on my phone but I rarely use them. Like abos I find it easier to just listen to my music I have saved on my SD card. I spend most of the time skipping songs just to get to what I want to hear on those apps. Lol

I actually like Pandora, simpler interface, an actual shuffle, and it plays automatically when you open it. plus it had a better selection of music I like than Spotify or GPM. Apple music still had a better selection though.

as to the op's issue did you do a free upgrade? sometimes that is part of the sign up. put your credit card info in and you have to cancel it after the promo. they used to do that with magazine subscriptions.

I have Pandora, been using it forever and yes I've subscribed to their premium service. I like the interface.
You can create as many playlists as you want or as many stations as you want. And yes, you can listen offline with your favorite playlists or stations, though with unlimited data and wifi everywhere not really a concern. Stayed for 3 days at the Grand Canyon, that offline listening came handy though.
I also noticed with the premium service, those songs that you thumbs down, never get repeated.

Bixby voice got an update today and just added Pandora.
