S25 Ultra - Titanium with Gorilla glass opinions

Hi there,

I really miss my Samsung phones but due to finances switched to a Motorola 3-5 years ago. Now, against my financial better judgement I'm lusting after a Samsung S25 Ultra so doing some research.

Would like some feedback as to whether or not the titanium with gorilla glass would mean I could "safely" go without an additional outer case? Is the titanium really better than the other usual phone frames or just a gimmick? I have dropped my phone like once per year and usually from waist to chest high (I'm 5'1") and the phones were always wearing a case. So far nothing has ever broken but I would love to have a phone that I don't need an outer case for.

Am I reading too much into titanium + gorilla glass being super strong and more unbreakable if dropped? Thanks in advance.

Put it in a case. Gorilla Glass etc are nice against scratches and minor bumps but I wouldn't trust them to protect against drops.
Phones are expensive, protect your investment.
