Changing permissions of individual apps

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to change the permissions of individual apps ?
I'm running 4.1.2 on the LG Optimus G Pro.
I can see the permissions by app, but I can't find a way to change them if I don't one of them doing something :)

Nope, sorry. The permissions are stated on Google Play before you agree to purchase/install, and that's the way they remain.

You can do it with this app.

And it does not require to root your device.

App Ops X can be used for rooted Android 4.3 n 4.4
There is also a Permission Manager available- can be used for JB also, but it is experimental...
both are available on Playstore
