Changing phones

I'm a verizon customer and own a galaxy note 4, galaxy s6 edge, and an LG v10. I've only got 1 sim card. Is it true that I can swap my sim into any phone I want to use for that day and it'll work just fine? I was told by verizon that it would no problem. Is there anything else I'd have to do?
