Changing your theme vs changing your layout

It occurs to me that while I have a multitude of themes I've executed over the years, changing my actual home screen layout happens very little, apart from shifting my music widget from top to bottom and maybe switching between a big weather widget, small weather widget, and no weather widget.

How often does your home screen layout change? Or do you just switch the theme atop that layout?

I change the layout from time to time. It only happens when I have a widget that would require more space or position the widgets at a particular section/point in the wallpaper.

Only if I find something new to add do I do any rearranging. I don't destash my furniture either.
