Charge Complete Alert

I have my Edge charging at night via a wireless charger. When the charging is complete, I get an audible alert along with the screen coming out of the sleep mode for several seconds. This cycle repeats numerous times during the night as the trickle charge kicks in if it senses a small drop in charge. Once the new round of charging is complete, the alert repeats again.

This can be annoying at night and I've found no way to silence the alert, short of muting everything.

Is there some way to silence just this aspect of the phone's alerts? I see no setting to turn off the audible alert for a full charge.

It is quite the design flaw. Quiet hours should actually be quiet hours. I had planned to use wireless charging at night but am now forced to plug the phone in. The wireless charging is almost worthless to me because of this.

I have yet to find a way to make it stop making the noise. Maybe they will address it in 5.1?!?!

OK, thanks. At least I know there's no setting I'm overlooking.

It really is a huge oversight and, as you say, makes the built-in wireless charging a whole lot less appealing.

Are you sure your placing it correctly on the wireless charger. Do you have the official Samsung one as IMO that's a really poor charger.

My Sammy charger has done that a few times so have to make sure it dead centre.

I would get another wireless charger and see how that one goes. The Nokia chargers are very good as it cover the whole phone you u literally just place it on the charger no looking for the right spot like the Sammy.

I have the Samsung S charger pad (small squaremodel EP-PG900IBU) that I got with the Samsung flip case for the S5 that allowed the S5 to wireless charge, and I've used it on the S6 edge and left it there even after it completed the charge and I never had it drain and restart charging on mine. Once it's done charging it stays AT 100%, I've never had it beep like it started charging again.

Mine does the same wake up at night after charge complete.

I don't use my wireless charger anymore because of it as well.

Needs fixed!

I have two wireless chargers, the Tylt & the Samsung. Both do the same thing.
