Ok Im pretty sure there is something wrong with my Nexus 10. My charge time have increased pretty significant since I first got it. I been talking to Samsung about my warranty and he recommends testing it using different outlets, chargers and cables. Been at this for days testing it. I drain it down to zero and start charging at 0% up to 100 on a timer with it fully off. .First 4 or 5 test were kind of speratic. i got around 8-10 hours using stock charger. One time i walked in and saw it only charged 5% in a hour! I played on it for a few hours got a random reboot and lost 10% from a reboot. The next day of test I used stock charger and amazon 2.1 amp charger from zero and got both 8 hour 30 min charge times consistent though one of the test the charge percent randomly went down from 96% to 92% while charging and off so i had to charge it longer which made the charge times both 8 hours 30 min.. When I first got my tablet in January my charge time use to be 6h 30mins. Im wondering if increased charge times are the results of android 4.3 because I could have swore android 4.2.2 use to turn off at 5% but that should only be 30 min max increase charging speeds if thats true. Can some people tell me some of your charge times to help with my warranty case. I been testing like crazy and could sure use a second opinion before I talk to that rude Samsung: warranty guy again :(

I don't know if the software is changing your battery life, but it is very likely that the battery's life cycle is being significantly reduced by letting the charge get so low. Generally it is a good idea to keep these batteries topped off as much as reasonably possible and never to let them get below 20-25%. I know my 2012 Nexus 7 used to get really cranky if the battery got too low and it could take many hours just to get it to a usable state again.

Well i usually keep my battery up all the time but i started noticing weird charges so I started doing test. Most people tell me its better to run down your battery cause it charges fast when lower because they slow down charging when getting close to charged to prevent over charging. I'm just worried cause I didn't get extended warranty cause I trusted the Samsung name. Just hoping people will give me their personal charge times to be sure. I'm one of those people who get super paranoid when I think something has gone wrong but really hard to find out how bad without a second opinion.
