Charger light

1 ) When you use your back up cradle and it's charging the watch (with out being plugged to the wall charger), does the blue light stay on the entire time?

2) And do you charge with the watch on or off?

2: i leave the watch on while charging like charging a phone

I'm using the Verizon Gear S and the annoying blue light stays lit the entire time it's plugged into power. I covered it using duct tape. Terrible design choice IMO.

I tried that after I was using it but it got hot and shut down.

It is just a bad color choice, that blue is piercing in the night. I set it on my bedside table so the charging light is blocked by some other object or facing away from the bed.
