I'm charging but still losing battery. I am doing things on my phone but it still shouldn't be draining.... Should it?

Are you using the included charger? If it is a cheap charger, it might not be putting out enough to charge it while you use it.

Yes it sounds like your charger just isn't keeping up with your activity. Are you using the charger and cable your phone came with?

Team,

There was an update a few days ago... and after that update, phone's performance is toooo low. Moreover, battery gets drained out within 3-4 hrs. and it gets too hot even when i am not using my phone.
Now, i am not even able to open anything on my phone... i have already sent feedback 5-6 times with my phone logs.
I am using LG's type-c to type-c cable with LG's adapter.
Its toooo annoying...

PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ASAP.

This sound like the charger you are using is not strong enough to power the device. Are you using the standard charge that car with the phone? :)

If Yes, i would possibly contact your service provider and ask for a replacement battery. Maybe the charging port isn't functioning correctly.

Who's "Team"? We're just other users here. Maybe file an issue?

Just anecdotally, though, I haven't had any battery drain or performance issues after the last update on my Nexus 5x.

Why would you ask that? Did you not read the two other times the question has already been asked and answered by op in this thread?

I am. I was at 55% and I am plugged in. I video messaged my wife and now it's at 53
I did a Hangout video call while plugged in and the same thing happened. Even though I was connected to Wifi it still got hot. It was probably just too much for the phone to handle. I basically shut the phone down and set it next to a fan for about 10 minutes.
