Hi guys,

Ok I'm not using the samsung plug or cable as I only have one (and I know Samsung only reccomend the samsung charger system only) this cable and plug is in my room for charging at night but it's just not long enough!!
So the set up i have is a 2m cable off amazon and my iphone usb plug. My problem is, sometimes it charges and sometimes it doesn't? Does anyone else experience this? Is it because it's not standard Samsung equipment I'm using?

Probably just a faulty cable, have you tried it with a different phone?

I regularly charge with a MU one charger and the 2 metre native Union cable that came with it. The phone actually charges faster and cooler over USB-PD than with the included charger lol

I only have the one Samsung to try it with, this is my 3rd cable. It's funny how it works some times and doesn't work other times. I'm going to try the above mentioned Anker.

I use 2 setups which works well for me.at home i use the Samsung Fast Wireless 2.0 Dual Pad Type and at the office i use the Aukey PD 2 port with Apple Usb C to Usb C cable.

Does the original Samsung cable work with the iPhone plug?

Often times the problem is the charger not the cable.

With fast charging i have replaced all my chargers with fast chargers. I only use Samsung or Anker.

Aukey is also good.

True enough.

Ok guys I've sorted it.

The genuine samsung charging cable works with the apple usb plug. But my non gen charging cable doesn't or does but intermittently. But the non gen charging cable works perfectly fine with the samsung usb plug! So I just swapped plugs. All sorted Haha.

Thanks guys.
