On my D2G the charging light would stay on the whole time the charger was plugged in. Now when I plug it in it just turns on and then shuts off, is it supposed to do that?

Where is the charging light? I see what looks like a very small, round hole between the Micro USB port and the HDMI port. Is that supposed to be the charge light? If so, I guess mine doesn't work at all, because it never lights up.

Yep. That's the one. Mine only lit up the very first time I plugged the phone in. Before it had a chance to boot up.
Nothing from it since.

That is amazing, because mine doesn't do anything. I didn't even know what you were talking about at first, but that is crazy.
Mine is actually working now, Too bad my phone isnt turning on !! >.< ill let you guys know.

I let my phone die overnight, in the morning i plugged it into my computer and plugged it into my phone. Charging light turned on, but phone wouldnt turn on.Now I plugged it into wall unit, no charging light but phone turned on. Go figure.

I don't think I've seen a light come out of my "charging" LED even once. Maybe I'll try plugging the phone it while it is off to see what happens. I can't imagine that it is actually behaving as intended. I'm sure if it was put there as a charging light, then it should either be lit while charging or lit when charging is complete (either way would be fine with me). It's probably a software bug.

Edit: Yep, that did it. I plugged it into the charger while the phone was off, and the light came on for about half a second. Well, at least I know it is physically functional, but I'm pretty sure that, software-wise, it's not working according to design intent.

After reading on here, I decided to try plugging my phone in to the charger while it was off. When I did, the light literally flashed, but that was it. However, if I turn the phone off and plug it into the computer, the light stays on! It even stays on if I unplug the phone from the computer and leave it off. When I boot the phone, plugged or not, the light goes off. Just sharing my experiences. Definitely something to watch to see if it is modified in an update of some sort.
