Charging Question

First I want to say how happy I am with Marshmallow, the Wifi calling finally enables me to use my Note 4 inside my house as a phone. The landline is finally no longer necessary. :)

Now for my question, I just bought a new Chevy with Android auto and a USB charging port. With the fast charging on the Note 4 will that charging port work, will I be able to just plug my Note 4 into the charging port and have it charge the phone?

Yes you should be able charge your phone in your car. Why not just plug and see for yourself?

That charging port will work just fine. It's amperage/voltage will determine how quickly it will charge. Most ports are 1A at 5v. QC2 can go to 1.5a at 12v, and phone also supports 2.5a at 5v. Pretty flexible as far as chargers it will accept.

Thank you both.
I just hadn't had the opportunity to give it a try and thought I'd ask. :)

I've only had the car 2 days and still learning the new features, I've pretty much got it down now
