Charging slowly or not at all when connected to PC

Hey guys. I am loving my U11. The only issue I have found is that, when connected via USB-c male to male to the type C port my laptop or work desktop, I get a message saying that it is charging slowly and sometimes it just stops showing that it is charging completely. I would frequently use these same ports and cords to top up my N6P before heading out because it would tell me it was quick charging. I know the type C ports are only the 2nd gen 10mb/s type (Vs thunderbolt 3 at 40 mb/s) but still. Any idea why it's not fast charging?

What charger are you using? Are you using the charger that came with the box?

Well with my HTC 10, I've never had fast charging when plugged into my laptop. It's most likely because your computer is not Qualcomm QC certified. In fact, charging from your computer is probably the slowest rate of charging (according to some Googling).

Ah, you are using laptop. Yea, I don't think laptop ports push fast charging. So, in those conditions, your phone will use just normal charging speed.
