Charging the phone

How do u guys charge you note do you let let die or charge it at 25 or 50%.. what is the best way to do it ?

I try to keep it between 30% and 80%. Letting your phone die is bad. Charging your phone to 100% isn't the best thing to do but if you have no other choice, do it.

I start charging mine around 30% and I let it go to 100%. That charge will last me about 30 hours with 4-6 hours SoT.

I charge mine as needed. I charge to 100% overnight and have it on all night. It might not help battery life, but I have chargers available including a wireless at work.

I charge as needed. I have a wireless at work, car charger and will have a wireless at home when the free one comes. I'm plugging in at night if needed for now.

i charge mine overnight on a samsung wireless fast charger.. the phone is fine with that.

i top mine off sometimes before work, but it is lasting all day easy.

I generally charge to 100% after falling between 20% and 30%. I try to use wireless charging when I can but it is so much slower than what I was used to on my Pixel XL, so if I need truly charged fast, I use USB-C charging. Battery life is good but could be better. I charge, on average, once every 24 hours, sometimes a second charge if I need more battery life for the rest of the day.

I charge mine on wireless via the Samsung Wireless Fast Charger every night while I stream YouTube. I have a 20100 Mah Anker battery for when it dies during day which is also a quick charger.

Usually get mine down to about 15% before it goes on the charger. Daily.

I thought that today's batteries are diff. Does it matter if it gets charged at 90 or even 95%?

I charge the phone when it gets down to 40% or there abouts. I've read the articles about charging between 40-80%. I've never been swayed to this method for one reason or another. I let it go to 90 or 100%, depending on convenience. I like others treat the phone well. But I don't like to be controlled by it. YMMV.

A lithium battery has very little memory and it's lifespan is based on complete charges. So if you only charge from 20%-80% and then disconnect it, you're essentially saving the 40% you don't use for another time. That said I trade in every year or every other year and don't notice a huge drop in life and I charge from 1%-10% when I go to sleep. Charges on the wireless charger and is at 100% at 6:30 for my day to start.

On a separate note, anyone know why when I'm plugged in with my oem cord and adapter I can't charge in fast mode??

Make sure you are using a fast charge capable charger. If so, may not be properly working.

Thought oem implied it was the one that came with the phone.... but anyways, tried different plugs and my computer but no luck. Ended up at best buy and bought a new cord.

I usually charge it at 50% and sometimes to 100% and sometimes just to 85. Depends on what I am doing. I never let it get down below 30% but then it never has so far. Battery life is ok. Not amazing but good.

I charge whenever I am near one of my chargers. In the car or Wireless at home an office. Usually after 10 hours of heavy use its around 30% or lower.

I let mine get down to anywhere between 5-15% before recharging. I charge it either in my Samsung Wireless stand or by connecting the cable.

If you charge a Li-ion battery above about 75% and leave it there long term, that's bad. It causes accelerated breakdown internally, reducing your capacity. Even overnight can cause some degradation.

Charging to full and using it right away is generally fine, as the battery will not remain at that high charge level for long.
