Charging the Tab S2 9.7 64GB takes forever

I upgraded my Tab S2 8" to the 9.7". I find using it on a variety of ways I can get up to 5 hours use.
My issue is charging it to full takes 8 or more hours from 20%.
My major complaint is Motorola adopted the Qualcomm chips that allow Quick Charging 2.0 and Samsung chose a chip in their recent phones with Adaptive Charging. Why would they not use a chip in the Tab to do Adaptive Charging to speed up the process.
Is charging pales compared to iPad in general.
Please tell me if you are having issues or it's just me.

It's your charger. I've been having the same issue with my S2 tablet. I discharged mine down past 15% last night, shut the unit off and plugged it in to a convienient cable. Woke up this morning to 37% charge after 8 hours. I swapped out the cable for the white one that came with the tablet and I picked up over 10% (sitting at 48% as I write this) in under an hour.
